Steamboat Springs Colorado

At one of Kimberly’s event planning client parties, Jay won a trip for us to Steamboat Springs. It was such a great weekend getaway!

We spent the first night enjoying a Mexican dinner, and then were up bright and early to hit the ski slopes. Both of us had never skied Steamboat before so we made sure to get up there by 830am. It was an absolutely beautiful day. It had just snowed the night before, and it was still hanging on the beautiful pine trees. As the sun came up over the mountains, it glistened everywhere!

We had an awesome day skiing, and then headed to a B&B for our second nights stay. That evening we went to a little restaurant where you pick your own meat and then grill it on a 'community grill'. We made sure to take advantage of a nice hot tub when we got back where we could see the stars, and then woke up to the smell of a nice breakfast waiting for us in the morning! What a nice getaway weekend!
