Crockpot Chicken & Sour Cream

Karen's Crockpot Chicken & Sour Cream

one package of boneless, chicken breasts

one can of cream of mushroom soup

8-16 oz of sour cream (depending on how much you like)

spices to taste – but NO salt (as you are adding one of the following which are salty)

ONE of the following:

  • 3-6 oz. Of cooked ham – diced/cut up

  • 3-6 oz. Of dried beef – cut up

  • 3-6 oz. Of uncooked bacon – cut into pieces

To prepare:

spray crockpot with non-stick cooking spray

mix soup & sour cream together along with any spices you like (again, recommend you don't add salt) suggestions for spices: paprika, onion/garlic powder, red pepper, black pepper, chili powder

layer in crockpot from the bottom up:

ham/dried beef/bacon

chicken

soup/sour cream/spices

Cook either on high for 4-6 hours or on low for 6-10 hours

Serve over mashed potatoes, egg noodles or white rice. Great with peas or another green veggie.
