Chococlate Covered Cherry Brownies

Prepare brownies according to box, and let cool completely.
1 jar (16 oz) maraschino cherries, undrained & chopped
8 oz cream cheese, softened
2 Tbls powdered sugar
1 container (8 oz) whipped topping
2 Tbls chocolate chips
Mix cream cheese and powdered sugar together, until smooth. Add 1/4 cup of cherry juice and mix well. Add chopped cherries and mix well. Gently fold in whipped topping. Spread over brownies. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
