350-8 min. or until set, on lightly greased cookie sheet. Chil dough before baking for 1 hr.
3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1 lg. egg
1/2 c. molasses
Cream butter and sugar together until light. Beat in egg & molasses until well blended.
Combine:
2-1/2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
Stir into creamed mixture until well blended.
Chill.
Shape dough into 3/4" balls, roll into granulated sugar. Put on cookie sheet 1-2 " apart and bake.
