Christmas Pull Apart Bacon Bread

| Print | E-mail

1 pkg bacon, cooked and broken into small pieces
1 tsp oil
3/4 cup green & red pepper
3/4 cup onions
3 tubes bisquits
1/2 cup melted margarine
1/2 cup shredded chedder cheese

Saute green & red peppers and onions in oil. Remove from heat and add bacon. Add cheese and stir together.

Grease bundt pan. Break apart bisquits and dip in melted margarine. Line bundt pan with bisquits and toss in above ingredients. Layer in pan.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes (for high altitude - cook for 45 minutes). Immediately pop out of pan onto serving plate.

This has been a tradition in our family for years that my mom started. This looks like a Christmas wreath with red and green spots.
