Zoo Time – Skunk!!

We continue to absolutely love our zoo! It is so interactive. For those of you who know me – I REALLY like skunks – they are just so stinking cute (no pun intended!). Honestly I thought of having a pet for a skunk someday – and almost did when I was 19. When we arrive this one day we went straight to the cottage where you can feed several of the animals if you get their early enough. We were the only ones there and the guy, John who was volunteering there asked if I’d like to hold the skunk?!? Um, yes… that would be wonderful. Noah was able to pet, feed and love on many animals, and Jonah enjoyed the overall fun time. Here are the pictures from our fun time in early September 2010.

We definitely need to visit your zoo, seems much more interactive than the Denver Zoo, my kiddos would love it. Having a skunk as a pet is also VERY possible, my cousin did when we were growing up, you just take the prayer out. =)

Lora – yes, this is the second time we’ve got to touch him – first time to hold him. Seriously – get that at 900a ish and go straight there. He’s most active first thing in the morning and they’re more likely to let you be a part of it.
Becca – we definitely need to set up a time for you to come down here – SO much fun. I really do enjoy this zoo more than Denver’s. Although it has been forever and someday I should take my boys there!
