Our Christmas season was wonderful this year. December was actually a slow month for us and we so enjoyed it! We celebrated Advent daily with different readings, songs, lighting of candles, and time together as family. We had wonderful friends come over for Christmas Eve - went to our church service, then had a big meal, then sat by the fire and hung out. Christmas Day we spent as just the four of us and had a nice relaxing day. That evening and the next evening (Jay's birthday) we got together with some friends to play Catan. And then my parents came to town December 30 - and we had a lttle time to open up some gifts with the kids.        |
Donations for our adoption
Update: We have now raised a total of $4,050! Thank you dear friends and family. Currently we have paid $17,100 toward our adoption fees.
We are in the process of adopting siblings from Ethiopia. Our next amount that we will need once we've received a referral for our children is approximately $13,000. Thank you for your consideration of helping us bring our children home.
