My Brother

My brother, Scott, is the coolest uncle to his two nephews! We just spent a week in Kansas visiting my mom and dad, while my brother was able to also be there! This first pic is at a co-op where you can buy your ducks and baby chickens.

While staying at my parents house, Jay and I had the luxury of sleeping in the basement - while mom, dad, Uncle Scott, Noah & Jonah were upstairs. Where this becomes a luxury is when the kids wake up at the crack of dawn, and mom & dad get to sleep a little extra! Well, apparently one night when Jonah was cutting teeth he woke up twice in the middle of the night. Mom of course was happy to hold her little grandbaby, but Uncle Scott knew that mom needed her sleep - so he rocked Jonah back to sleep both times and sent her back to bed!

On one of our days while there Uncle Scott took Noah to K-State University (where he used to work) and they walked around by the locker rooms, seeing footballs, shoulder pads, the football field, etc. Noah was in awe. On that same excursion the two of them went to Dairy Queen for lunch and then off to play some golf. My brother loves playing his golf and has been anxious to get his nephew out on the greens. The weather wasn't the best, so they didn't stay out too long, but he did rent a cart and they drove around and putted the ball around a little.

My brother decided that he would do the road trip back to Colorado with us and then fly out to Montana the next day so he could have some time with his nephews. Well - we stopped at this dinosaur musuem and had a ball. It was a great break from the road trip - and of course, they loved the dinosaurs, fossils, interactive things to do, and the 'scary noises' from the dinosaurs!

We had such a great week - and my brother was a big part of making it so special! Love you Scott!

Definitely puts a smile on my face to see how precious their time together is!
