What is God's?

Luke 20:23-25
He saw through their duplicity and said to them, "Show me a denarius. Whose portrait and inscription are on it?"
"Caesar's, " they replied.
He said to them, "Then give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's"

Thoughts:
What’s is God's? This specific Scripture mentions money and I would say that for the most part people get it, that we are to pay taxes, to give to Caesar what is Caesar's. But how often do we focus on the second part; and give to God what is God's. I suppose we first need an answer to the question -- what is God's? We see clearly that Jesus points out Caesar's inscription on a denarius, but what contains God's inscription? What clearing has the inscription of God? What is given to Caesar that belongs to God?

The first thing that comes to my mind is a baby (Psalm 139:13). A baby, a life does not belong to the government. There should never be a government law to kill baby's. Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and give to God what is God's. Life is God's, give it to Him.

Psalm 139:13
For you created my inmost being;
you knit me in my mother's womb.
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full and well.
My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place.
When I was woven together in the depths of the earth,
your eyes saw my unformed body.
All the days ordained for me
were written in your book
before one of them came to be.

Creation. Our government has control over the public school system and is teaching our kids that God did not create the world we live in. Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and give to God what is God's. The creation of the world and universe belongs to God, give it to Him.

The Bible. Obviously. In certain parts of the world, people are not allowed to own the Bible. How absurd is this? God's autobiography, clearly has the inscription of God, but Caesar has taken it from man. This isn’t absolutely true in America but (will be some day), there are certain places where we cannot bring the Word of God or speak of the Word of God in public places or on government property. Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and give to God what is God's. The Bible belongs to God, give "His Word" to Him.

The Christian life. Those of us who call ourselves Christians, belong to God and should clearly have God's inscription on our lives. It should be as clear as the inscription of Caesars face on a denarius. When someone says, "that is a denarius and that belongs to Caesar and they should also be able to say "you are a Christian and you belong to God." Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and give to God what is God's. We as followers of Jesus Christ we belong to God, give your life to Him.

Love. There is no one is this world, no one who has lived within the history of this world, nothing within the entire universe that can claim ownership of love but God. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends - John 15:13 God has written the longest love letter know to man that has the deepest meaning of love. To read His word and not see love is to look at a denarius and not see Caesar. Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and give to God what is God's. Love is God's, give Love to Him.

Marriage. "Therefore, what God has joined together let not man separate." - Mark 10:9. Need I say more? This verse refers to the beginning of time when God instituted marriage as a great unifying blessing, bonding the male and female in His creation. Give to Caesar what is Caesar's, and give to God what is God's, give marriage to God.
