Growing Up Too Fast
Written by Kimberly Hartwell
While I may not have kids entering school this week like so many of my friends, my boys do seem to have grown SO much in the last five days. Here's just a few of the ways:
Noah -
- He now insists on going to the bathroom by himself, and should you try to come in to help him get his pants off, he puts his hand out and says, "Back, myself".
- At church, Noah was moved up to the next classroom for the year, and while I thought this wasn't too big of a deal, I was shocked when I came back to the classroom and found that had done his first craft project to bring home! When did my boy get so big that he can now be in a class where he's learning and not just being watched?!?
Jonah -
- He is now doing much better about his awake times. It seems like just in the last 3-5 days, we don't feel like we have to keep him awake and stretch that time until nap time. He now just happily is playing until it's time to go to bed.
- Sunday morning we woke up and both Jay and I thought - what happened to our boy - he looks so much older than he did yesterday!
- And now he has transitioned up to the yellow duck tub - where he sits around and splashes and laughes throughout the whole bath time.
