True Faith is absolute certainty. True faith believes God's word. True faith helps us to see what other cannot and do what other cannot. True faith believes in obedience. True faith walks with God. True faith does not question God's plan. True faith is able to wait, is deaf to doubt and blind to impossibility. True faith doesn't fold under the world's pressure. True faith is the ability to turn away from pleasing the world and turn toward pleasing God.

Because of this, we have chosen for the next two months to have a true fast in our home on one evening a week. *We are planning to either eat, rice, beans or oatmeal (common meals you find in 3rd world countries for those that don't have much). The money we will save on this meal will go to one of the partners of Live 58.

I am so thankful for our brains! Seriously! I am thankful for memory. There are of course many aspects of memory that help us throughout life, but specifically I'm thinking about the ability to hide God's Word in our heart. I am so thankful to recall His words in times of trial, or joy. I am thankful that those words bring life to the soul - what a privilege to be literate and be able read God's Word ourselves. I know I take it for granted sometimes (often), but I want to be grateful for it.
To whom much is given, much is required. May we use God's gifts, talents, abilities for His kingdom, for His glory!
